Pull the knob out of the socket and replace with the broken one.
If this doesn't work check the fuse is correctly fitted and is not blown.
Check the neutral/earth pin and earth wire on the damaged actuator and replace if the neutral/earth pin has gone.
Check the presence of damp and mouldy surrounding and clean if necessary.
Try and plug the faulty actuator back in again.
